The Allenspark Fire Protection District located in Allenspark, CO is staffed by 27 volunteers. Our response area covers approximately 155 square miles in rural Larimer and BoulderCounties. Special services that we provide in addition to Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services are Search and Rescue, Inspections, Fire Prevention and Mutual Aid to neighboring agencies. The fire district has mutual aid agreements with neighboring fire departments such as EstesPark, Lyons, LeftHandCanyon, Pine Wood Springs and the United States Forest Service.
The department operates under a 911 dispatch system through Boulder County Communications. The department uses portable and vehicle radios.
The fire district operates as a special district and all funding for the operation of the fire district is from property tax revenues and donations. The District is governed by an elected board which meets monthly at the main fire station in Allenspark.

The Allenspark Fire Protection District welcomes new volunteers that are willing and able to put in the time and effort to become a member of our team. Volunteers meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at Station One (14861 Highway 7).
Emergency Notification System
Sign up to get emergency notifications in your area. Boulder County Sheriff utilizes an emergency notification system that allows residents of the county and incorporated cities to be notified of emergency situations. Notifications can be received in a variety of ways, including cell, home and work phones, text messaging and email.
The Allenspark Fire Department takes orders for reflective house number signs. These signs help local rescuers find your home faster. If you are interested in a sign please go to the 'House Number Sign' page (on the left) to access the form.
