July 12, 2025, 16:54 to 20:01, Grass Fire, mutual aid Big Elk Fire
AFPD responded to a mutual aid call from Big Elk Fire for a possible grass fire. Crews aided in finding the source of smoke and containment of fire. Command transferred to USFS for overnight operations.

AFPD investigated a report of an unattended campfire. Found one campfire in legal ring, attended by several people. No further response needed.

AFPD Investigated in the area of reported smoke. Found widespread haze from distant wildfires. No further response needed.

AFPD provided mutual aid for patient involved in off-road motor vehicle accident. Estes Valley Fire and Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 provided primary care.

AFPD assessed driver and passenger involved in rollover accident. One patient refusal taken by Estes Park Health Ambulance 410. One patient refusal taken by Lyons Fire. Scene left with Boulder County Sheriff's Department.

AFPD investigated source of fire alarm, attempted to contact homeowner. Nothing found upon thorough investigation.

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. Handed patient care to Estes Park Ambulance 410. EP410 transported to Estes Park Health.

AFPD medical personnel were on hand during Fiat Race to provide medical assistance as needed. AFPD performed first aid for minor injuries.

AFPD medical personnel were on hand during Hilltop Guild Bazaar Race to provide medical assistance as needed. No injuries reported.

AFPD investigated in the area of Bunce School Road looking for a motor vehicle accident. Boulder County Dispatch contacted reporting party and confirmed it was an accidental notification via Apple iphone. No further response needed.

AFPD was toned, then cancelled to a Motor Vehicle Accident that was property damage only. However, AFPD personnel found trailer blocking traffic and debris in road. AFPD stayed on scene to provide traffic control until arrival of Colorado State Patrol and Boulder County Sheriff's Officer.

AFPD investigated in the area of a reported motorcycle accident. Motorcycle found but no driver. Per dispatch, driver received a ride to Lyons Fire.

AFPD assisted Estes Park Ambulance 410 crew administer first aid. EP410 transported patient to Estes Park Health.

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medications, medical history, etc. AFPD monitored heart and administered IV therapy then handed patient care to Estes Park Ambulance 410. EP410 transported to Longmont United Hospital.

AFPD hiked to patient and assessed; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. AFPD administered first aid and oxygen. MedEvac transported patient to Medical Center of the Rockies.

AFPD provided assistance to a dog owner that locked keys and dog inside car.
