Allenspark Fire Protection District – Incidents September 18 to October 14, 2024

September 18, 2024, 14:01 to 15:16, Medical Call, Riverside Drive

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, EKG monitoring, etc. AFPD assisted Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 with IV, medications and transportation to helicopter landing zone. MedEvac transported patient to Boulder Community Hospital.

Thirteen Allenspark personnel responded.

September 19, 2024, 10:27 to 11:31, Medical Call, Riverside Drive

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 transported patient to Longs Peak Hospital.

Seven Allenspark personnel responded.

September 20, 2024, 11:08 to 12:02, Medical Call, Zumwinkel Lane

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. AFPD administered first aid. Estes Park Ambulance 410 transported to Estes Park Health.

Nine Allenspark personnel responded.

September 21, 2024, 23:57 to 01:19, Medical Call, Cabin Creek Road

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. AFPD assisted Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 with patient care. EP410 transported patient to Longmont United Hospital.

September 22, 2024, 19:57 to 20:28, Illegal Campfire, Highway 7

AFPD investigated in and around the area of Wild Basin. Did not locate any campfires, recommended that dispatch contact Rocky Mountain National Park to check in their jurisdictional area.

October 1, 2024, 17:12 to 17:54, Illegal Campfire, Ski Road

AFPD investigated in the area of a reported illegal campfire. Cooking fire was out upon arrival. Campers were informed about the burn ban in effect. No further response needed.

October 2, 2024, 13:29 to 13:42, Medical Call, Ski Road

AFPD investigated a medical alarm activation. Determined that it was an accidental activation and no further response was needed.

October 3, 2024, 19:17 to 20:15, Motor Vehicle Accident, Highway 7

AFPD performed traffic control at the scene of a vehicle vs. elk. Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 took patient refusal. AFPD continued traffic control a Larimer County Sheriff's Officer took over command of the scene.

October 4, 2024, 20:06 to 21:42, Fire Alarm, County Road 84 West

AFPD responded to the scene of a fire alarm. Response was delayed due to a locked gate. No fire found upon arrival, inspected two dwellings and determined it was a alarm malfunction.

October 5, 2024, 21:59 to 22:45, Medical Call, Salvation Lane

AFPD assisted Estes Park Ambulance 410 already on scene, with patient care. EP410 transported patient with one firefighter rider to Estes Park Health.

October 12, 2024, 08:40 ro 09:32, Medical Call, Saint Vrain Drive

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc. Estes Park Ambulance 410 transported to Estes Park Health.
